So I upgraded my laptop today to 2GB of RAM (up from 1G, and when I go to turn it back on, nothing shows up on the screen... The hard drive light is blinking at a regular interval like a check engine light, telling me something is amiss... So I take out the drive and turn it back on, to see what would happen, and the exact same thing, leading me to believe there is a hard drive problem now.

Great... So before I do any more experimenting...oops, I mean troubleshooting...I hook it up to my "computer-in-a-bag" (my old car-puter) and it shows up just fine with all the files - good! Now I am running a full test and repair on the hard drive...waiting...320GB is a lot sector scanning. Oh well. I have to wait for my Julienne potatoes, as well.

It's a beautiful night for sitting around, though...perfect weather. I love this time of year.
